NEET 2023 Live Update: NEET UG Result Expected Schedule

The National Testing Agency (NTA) released a provisional answer key on 6th June on which all the objections from the candidates’ side have been recorded. Now, NTA will release the final answer key very soon. Besides, if we talk about NEET 2023 live updates, NTA has assured the candidates that the NEET’s expected result date will be in the second week of June.

The NEET exam was separately conducted on 6th June for around 8700 students from Manipur as they could not appear in the NEET exam on 7th May because of violence in Manipur. Their results are also expected to be declared with other NEET aspirants. If we look at previous years’ trends, NTA declared students’ results and OMR responses just 5-7 days after they released the final answer key.

Where To Check NEET UG 2023 Result?

NTA will declare the NEET 2023 results on its official website neet.nta.nic.in. You can check your result on this website using your date of birth and registration number. 

NTA will reveal the name of All India toppers, state-wise toppers, percentile ranks, and cut-off marks for each category.

Steps to follow for checking NEET Result 2023

As stated above, the result is expected to be announced in the second week of June and you can check your NEET 2023 result by following this process : 

  •     Open the official website of NTA (http://neet.nta.nic.in) in your browser.
  •     Find the NEET UG 2023 results link and click on it.
  •     Type your login credentials (registration/ roll number, date of birth) and click on submit button.
  •     Now, you can view the result in which your AIR (All India Rank), subject-wise marks, percentile, and other information will be there.
  •     Download the scorecard on your device and keep it safe for further admission process.

NEET Result 2023: Eligibility Criteria For NEET Counseling

NTA will prepare a list of the NEET UG 2023 qualified students who opted for a 15% All India quota (AIQ). This list will be sent to the Central Ministry of Ayush and then allotment will be carried out for these 15% AIQ seats. The criteria for counselling eligibility for various categories are different. For instance, if you belong to the General or General-EWS category and want to take admitted to a medical course in the same academic year, your marks must be equivalent to the 50 percentile at least in the NEET exam.

Besides medical courses in AIIMS, one can get admission to various state and central government-funded medical colleges as they decide the admission criteria and eligibility, and other rules based on NEET examination results. However, the government can modify a few rules based on the situation.
